Version: 2.0 Last updated: July 20, 2026 Audience: families, teachers, learners, store reviewers, support teams, and privacy/legal reviewers.

JoggMini gives families, eligible learners, and teachers clear controls for account, profile, classroom, device, and learning-data deletion. This guide explains the deletion choices available in JoggMini, what each choice removes, what remains available, and how JoggMini handles privacy, parental control, classroom records, subscriptions, and lawful retention.

This page is written for users and reviewers. It describes the deletion controls available in JoggMini and how each deletion choice is handled.

1. Deletion is a core privacy feature

JoggMini is a children-first learning app. That means deletion is not hidden behind support-only language, vague buttons, or confusing labels. Parents and guardians need to understand what happens when they remove a child from a device, delete a child profile permanently, delete a parent account, manage a teacher profile, or clear guest data. Teachers need to understand what classroom data belongs to them and what belongs to families. Eligible teen learners need a clear path for their own account choices.

JoggMini treats deletion differently from signing out, removing a profile from one device, clearing local app data, disabling notifications, leaving a classroom, cancelling a subscription, or uninstalling the app. Each action has a different meaning, and the app labels these actions separately so users do not mistake a local device change for cloud deletion.

2. The deletion choices available in JoggMini

JoggMini separates destructive cloud deletion from reversible or device-only actions.

Clear local app data removes local app information stored on the current device. This can include local guest progress, cached learning data, drafts, local notification state, locally generated temporary files, local PIN material, and selected/default learner state on that device. It does not delete cloud records and does not cancel Apple App Store or Google Play subscriptions.

Remove kid profile from this device removes a parent-managed kid profile from the current phone or tablet only. The child profile remains in the parent account and remains visible to authorized parents and co-parents. The parent can load the child profile back to the same device later.

Delete kid profile permanently deletes the child profile from the family account and removes or detaches the child's dependent learning data according to JoggMini's deletion policy. The child is removed from the primary parent dashboard and authorized co-parent dashboards. This action cannot be undone.

Delete a guest profile from this device removes the local guest learner profile and locally stored guest progress from the current device. Guest mode does not create a cloud account, so guest deletion is local-device deletion.

Delete an eligible teen learner profile removes the provider-linked teen learner profile and associated learner data controlled by that teen account, subject to age, consent, and safety rules that apply to that account.

Delete a parent account removes the parent account and resolves linked family data, child profiles, device links, tasks, co-parent relationships, and parent records according to the parent's authority and the deletion choices selected in the app.

Delete a teacher profile removes the teacher profile and teacher-owned records through the controls available in that profile. Teacher deletion does not delete family child profiles. Classroom records are handled according to JoggMini classroom behavior and any applicable school or institutional policy.

Delete a classroom or classroom task removes the classroom or task from the teacher view and from student/parent classroom views. When a classroom is deleted, students are removed from that classroom and can no longer take tasks from that deleted classroom. Deleting a classroom is different from deleting a teacher profile or deleting a family child profile.

3. Who controls deletion

Deletion authority depends on the active role and the data scope.

A primary parent or guardian can delete their own parent account, remove a child from the current device, permanently delete authorized child profiles, manage parent-created tasks, and clear local app data on the device they control.

A co-parent can manage child data according to the household role granted to that co-parent. when the household role grants deletion authority, deletion removes the child for the whole family, not only for that co-parent's device. When the role does not grant deletion authority, JoggMini keeps permanent deletion under the primary guardian's control.

A parent-managed child profile cannot independently delete the cloud child profile or household records. If a parent-managed child taps a delete-account action from the child-facing edit profile area, JoggMini explains that JoggMini tells the child to ask the parent to delete the profile from the parent profile.

A guest learner can delete the local guest profile from the device because guest learning data is stored locally and is not attached to a registered cloud account.

An eligible self-managed teen learner can delete their own provider-linked learner profile through the controls available in that profile by the product flow and applicable consent/safety rules. Teen deletion does not delete parent accounts, sibling profiles, teacher records, or school-controlled records.

A teacher can delete their own teacher profile and teacher-owned classroom or quiz records through the controls available in that profile. A teacher cannot delete a family child profile, parent account, or parent-controlled household settings.

JoggMini uses confirmation screens, role checks, parent PIN in the relevant product flows, and provider re-authentication when the provider supports it for high-risk deletion flows.

4. Removing a kid profile from one device

Remove kid profile from this device is a safe, device-only action for parents. It is useful when a child was loaded onto a phone or tablet and the parent no longer wants that child profile active on that device.

When a parent removes a kid profile from the current device, JoggMini:

This action affects only the current device. If the same child is loaded on a co-parent's phone, that phone is not changed. If the same parent uses another phone, that other phone is not changed.

The app labels this action separately from permanent deletion so parents can clearly distinguish a reversible device removal from a destructive cloud deletion.

5. Permanently deleting a kid profile

Delete kid profile permanently is the destructive cloud deletion action for a child profile. It removes the child profile from the family account and from authorized parent/co-parent access.

When a parent permanently deletes a kid profile, JoggMini removes or detaches child-scoped records including:

After permanent deletion, the child cannot be loaded back to any device because the cloud profile no longer exists. The parent account itself remains unless the parent also chooses to delete the parent account.

If one authorized parent or co-parent permanently deletes a child profile, that deletion applies to the family record, not only to one phone. The child no longer appears in the other parent's dashboard once the other device refreshes or syncs.

6. Choosing what happens to local guest mode after child deletion

After a parent confirms Delete kid profile permanently, JoggMini asks what happens to the current device's local guest profile.

Return to local guest mode keeps the existing local guest learning data on that device. If the device had local guest Stars, world progress, badges, Daily Quest history, quiz/practice history, Arcade progress, drafts, or other local learning data before the cloud kid was loaded, those local guest values can appear again under the local guest profile.

Clear app data deletes the local guest learning data from the current device after the cloud child profile is deleted. This clears local guest reward/profile data, local world progress projections, Daily Quest state, quiz/practice history and drafts, Arcade local progress, local counters, and local guest notifications.

JoggMini does not silently erase local guest learning data during permanent child deletion. The parent chooses the local device behavior explicitly.

7. Parent account deletion

A parent can delete their JoggMini parent account from the app. Parent account deletion is broader than deleting one child profile.

Before parent account deletion, JoggMini presents the family state affected by the request, including linked children, co-parent relationships, active parent-created tasks, device links, and subscription reminders. The app resolves child profiles and household authority according to the parent's role and the chosen deletion path.

Parent account deletion can remove:

Deleting a JoggMini parent account does not delete the user's Google account, Apple account, or app-store billing account.

8. Teacher profile, classroom, and classroom-task deletion

Teacher deletion is handled separately from family deletion. A teacher account is used for classrooms, classroom codes, teacher-created quizzes, classroom tasks, reports, and student participation records. A teacher does not own a family child profile.

A teacher can delete teacher-owned drafts, quizzes, classrooms, and classroom tasks through the controls available in that profile in the app. When a classroom is deleted, JoggMini removes that classroom from the teacher view, removes students from that classroom, removes classroom tasks from active student access, and updates parent-facing classroom views for affected children after sync.

When a classroom task is deleted, the task is removed from the classroom task list and from learner task access. Existing reporting or audit information may be retained only where needed for lawful, safety, school, or support reasons.

Teacher profile deletion can remove:

Teacher deletion does not delete parent accounts, household settings, parent-created tasks, or family child profiles.

9. Teen learner deletion

JoggMini supports eligible self-managed teen learner accounts with a hybrid privacy model. Teens can use their own provider-linked learner profile while JoggMini limits what is collected and separates teen autonomy from parent-managed child profiles.

An eligible teen learner can delete their own learner profile through the controls available in that profile. Teen deletion can remove:

Teen deletion does not delete a parent account, sibling profile, teacher profile, classroom owned by a teacher, or another user's data.

10. Guest profile deletion

Guest mode is local-first. A guest learner can use JoggMini without creating a registered cloud account. Guest progress is stored on the device unless the user later chooses a supported migration path.

Deleting a guest profile removes local guest data from the current device, including local guest Stars, world progress, Daily Quest history, Arcade progress, practice history, local badges, drafts, and local notifications. Because guest data is local, deleting the guest profile from the device cannot be recovered from JoggMini cloud services.

Guest deletion does not affect parent accounts, teacher accounts, teen accounts, or cloud child profiles loaded by a parent.

11. Subscriptions and billing

Deleting an account, profile, classroom, or local guest profile does not automatically cancel an Apple App Store or Google Play subscription. Store subscriptions are managed through Apple or Google billing tools.

JoggMini deletion flows remind paid users to manage subscriptions through the relevant store. JoggMini may retain minimal billing and transaction evidence required for tax, accounting, fraud prevention, refund handling, chargeback handling, store reconciliation, or legal obligations. Billing evidence is separated from child learning content wherever possible.

12. Exported files and external copies

JoggMini can delete or detach data inside JoggMini systems according to the chosen deletion scope. It cannot remotely erase files that a parent, teacher, school, or user has already exported or saved outside the app.

Examples include downloaded CSV, JSON, image, certificate, badge, report, or PDF-like files saved to a device, shared through another app, emailed, printed, uploaded elsewhere, or stored by a school or family outside JoggMini.

Deletion confirmations explain this limitation clearly. Users who shared exported files with another recipient can contact that recipient to request deletion of external copies.

13. Retention, backups, and legal exceptions

JoggMini deletes or detaches operational records according to the deletion scope selected by the user. Some limited information may be retained where lawful or operationally necessary.

Retention can apply to:

Backups age out according to backup schedules and are not restored into active service after deletion. When data is retained for a lawful reason, JoggMini minimizes, detaches, or anonymizes it where the data category supports it and explains retained categories without exposing sensitive content.

14. Confirmation, identity checks, and deletion evidence

JoggMini uses confirmation steps for destructive actions. High-risk flows can require a fresh provider session, parent PIN confirmation for parent-only areas, and typed confirmation such as DELETE or the child/profile name.

When a deletion request completes or partially completes, JoggMini provides confirmation information that can include:

Support can help users locate deletion requests through authenticated account information or an internal request identifier. Support cannot reverse a completed permanent deletion.

15. What each role can delete

| Requester | Can delete or remove | Cannot delete without extra authority | |---|---|---| | Primary parent/guardian | Own parent profile, authorized child profiles, local data on current device, kid profile from current device, parent-created tasks | Another adult's provider account, exported files outside the app, Apple/Google billing account | | Co-parent | Child profiles and tasks where the household role grants authority; local device removal on their device | Primary guardian account, another co-parent account, school-owned records without authority | | Parent-managed child | Local child-facing actions provided by the app | Cloud child profile, household records, parent account, teacher/classroom records | | Guest learner | Local guest profile and local guest learning data on the device | Cloud parent, teen, teacher, or child profiles | | Eligible self-managed teen | Own provider-linked learner profile through the controls available in that profile | Parent-managed sibling profiles, parent account, teacher records | | Teacher | Own teacher profile, teacher-owned drafts, classrooms, quizzes, and classroom tasks through the controls available in that profile | Family child profile, household settings, parent tasks | | School or institution admin | School-controlled records under an institutional agreement | Family account records outside the school relationship | | Support operator | Assist verified deletion workflows according to policy | Bypass identity checks, delete another family's data by request, reverse completed permanent deletion |

16. What is not silently deleted

JoggMini does not silently delete data that affects other users, legal obligations, billing records, or safety duties without explaining the limitation.

Some categories may remain outside the deletion scope or may be retained lawfully:

This approach gives users a realistic deletion explanation rather than an inaccurate promise that every copy everywhere disappears instantly.

17. Google Play and App Store deletion information

JoggMini provides in-app deletion entry points for account and profile deletion in the relevant product flows. JoggMini also provides public deletion information for store review and user support.

Deleting a JoggMini account or profile deletes or detaches associated JoggMini app data according to the selected deletion scope, subject to lawful retention for security, fraud, accounting, refund, child-safety, classroom, or legal obligations.

Deleting a JoggMini account does not delete a Google or Apple account. Deleting a JoggMini account also does not cancel Apple App Store or Google Play subscriptions. Users manage subscriptions through Apple or Google.
